Hi, my name is Gia. Planning events is my dream job, honestly! I truly love what I do! However, it took me a minute to figure it all out.

​

I started my professional career in television advertising and production on the east coast in the Washington, DC area. However, I’ve always had a passion for planning events, entertaining family and friends, and organizing amazing parties.

​

With that in mind, I obtained my Culinary Arts degree and opened a catering company. After 6 years, I acquired a bachelor’s degree in Event Management and in 2016 I established The Riverbed Events. I’ve had the opportunity to plan and execute small socials and over the top extravagant events. More importantly, I have gained many valuable connections with area experts and partnered with some of the best vendors nationally and around the world, including amazing women owned companies, that have proven invaluable in creating remarkable events.

I work hard for my clients to ensure that each extraordinary and unique event is filled with unforgettable moments. I pride myself in understanding my client’s vision, and working with them to plan their upcoming events, free of stress and with confidence.
